Club Dj

True Dance Music Knowledge

Sometimes referred to as the ‘Human Shazam’ Justin’s knowledge of the history of dance music is unrivalled.  From early house music to current EDM if your venue needs repetitive beats you need to talk to Justin.

Justin was dj’ing in nightclubs well before his 18th birthday, drawn to the amazing inclusive vibes of the early 90’s scene in his native Birmingham.  Having graduated to playing at the city’s best venues and club nights, Justin also began producing mixes for local radio station Choice FM, which was soon to become Galaxy 102.2 .

With a new platform for promotion in his weekly radio shows, Justin became a regular around the Midlands dance scene, playing legendary nights such as ‘Passion at The Emporium’, ‘Miss Moneypenny’s at Bonds’, and the iconic Mixmag balls at The Q Club.

At the turn of the millennium Justin moved to London having been approached by 95.8 Capital FM to present their new weekend dance music shows.  Saturday nights on Capital were a massive success, with huge number pouring in for Justin’s marathon 10 hour sets which encompassed uplifting dance music both new and old on ‘Party Capital’ before chilling into deeper vibes on ‘After Hours’.  Soon Kiss 100 came calling, and in 2006 Justin made the move to Kiss for a new morning show and the opportunity to relaunch the ‘Kisstory’ brand.

During the next 15 years, Justin would take to the turntables at some of London’s biggest and best electronic music club nights.  Ministry of Sound, Pacha, Fabric, and Turnmills to name a few, and spent most weekends touring the country playing to hedonistic crowds in fantastic venues in the UK’s best cities, while spending the summer playing in party hot spots; Ibiza, Mallorca, the Spanish Costa’s and Greek Islands.
